CYRUS has been fortunate enough to have over 10+ years of serving and working with youth and their families in the Seattle area. He has a passion for social justice, and advocating for marginalized populations and communities. This passion was cultivated from his own experiences coming from an immigrant Filipino family, being an immigrant himself, as well as proudly growing up in the very diverse neighborhoods of Rainier Valley and Skyway. This passion led him to pursue and obtain a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Washington. Throughout his time and years working with families from all different backgrounds, Cyrus has developed a greater sense of respect and understanding of every person’s differing, yet profound stories, struggles, successes, and cultures.
Outside of work Cyrus enjoys spending time with his dog Daisy, binge watching tv shows, tending to his growing plant collection, building his skills and repertoire for home cooking, playing sports, and finding any reason to laugh and enjoy life with friends and family.
