Over the past four years, we have experienced significant growth going from supporting 12 schools to 33 with a 114% growth in revenue. This is an exciting time to join our team as we have recently expanded into our third school district. We are seeking an experienced, positive, and flexible fundraising/event manager to join our team and help us continue our growth. The Development Manager’s primary focus is oversight of event logistics, including community drives, website/social media, and in-kind resource development and will report to our Development Director.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee and manage special event planning and execution of our annual fundraising breakfast, Wine & Brews and Block Party events
  • Oversee and manage four community drives: hygiene, backpack, snack and gift card
  • Support our school teams’ in-kind resource development needs
  • Volunteer management, which includes coordinating volunteers and maintaining ongoing communication
  • Responsible for website and social media communication
  • Processing all donations – database entry, process thank you’s and bank deposit

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of increasing responsibility in event/project management
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, small team environment
  • Commitment to social justice

SALARY RANGE: Full-time, exempt: $57,000-$65,000 annual salary.

BENEFITS: Medical/dental with 100% employee premium paid by organization, vacation, sick, holidays and retirement plan.
