Online: Basic Needs Emergency Fund

As our community is trying to adjust to the outbreak of COVID-19, our thoughts are with those communities who are disproportionately affected. We have setup this emergency fund to address the immediate needs of economically vulnerable populations.

With your support, we can come together and support those most impacted by addressing the economic impact of reduced and lost work due to the broader COVID-19 outbreak. Families need food, personal care items, rental and utility assistance, gas cards, and more.

For every dollar you donate, $11.60 is returned to our community.

We help hundreds of young people realize their potential, but many more need our services. Help us expand our reach and deepen our level of support through a financial contribution; either one-time or on-going.

Communities In Schools of Renton-Tukwila brings a remarkable efficiency to service delivery because we approach our work less as service providers and more as service brokers. In fact, for every paid staff person we marshal the time, talent and energies of 20 volunteers. It’s our emphasis on the coordination of services that distinguishes Communities In Schools from all other organizations and makes us so effective at what we do.

“We support Communities In Schools not just because they work smart, but because as members of the community it’s the right thing to do, and for us the right way to do it.”
